Good point L&S. Very well put! Fonzie wasn't originally supposed to be the main character as gary marshall has even said!

Are you kidding? Happy Days was one of the most popular show of the 1970s. It was a great show.

Sorry I know GilliganLuver1964 posted this a long time ago, but I had to comment on his/her stupid remark about Happy Days.

Boring? GilliganLuver1964, in my office, Now! The reasons I Love HD is the characters for one, they were classic. The 50's were happy times for most of everyone. It was a classic time. The music , the clothes, the cars. The 50's had style. HD was a very funny show, one of the few that actually made me laugh out loud. And of course the Fonz, a true classic! One of the most loved characters of all time.

Amen!

But, about Happy Days...
This show is anything BUT boring! I love this show! It's funny, yet realistic (for the 50s that is...). Not to mention I like it because Potsie is a hottie! (Please don't beat me up for saying I love Potsie...I know he's TAKEN.)

I agree with you animalcrakers, the 50's had style, style that I love. The 50's is the coolest decade. And the Fonz was coolamundo.

I agree w/Pat & I_love_Fonzie, but I think what makes the show so gr8 are the cast/characters, especially Fonzie! Luv ya, Fonz! Plus, the show brings u back 2 a simpler time & gets your mind off all the bad stuff in the world. Do we really need anymore more depressing news? I THINK NOT!!! That's why I watch Happy Days & Laverne & Shirley! They are gr8!

I even read that Fonzie got so popular that they were gonna change the name of the show to Fonzie's Happy Days, but then nixed that idea because they thought it would cause too tension with the cast.

I like Happy Days because the cast works so well together. There really isn't a dull moment. You had some pretty original characters on HD, Fonzie being one of them. the Cunninghams were people you wish you could part of their family.
There is so many reasons why I love HD
