The commercials didn't do justice for the show. It's actually pretty good to watch. It even got critic acclaim but it debuted on the worst night for tv, saturday night so it didn't get a strong viewership. And believe me there has been worst shows to be considered as the stupidest show ever on tv.

Cool

Call me crazy but I liked Work With Me with Kevin Pollack and Nancy Travis. I watched the clips for this show and I said, man, does that look like a stupid show! But it really was very funny! I think it should've lasted longer than most shows today, not 4 weeks or so.

Does anyone remember the sitcom Guys Like Us on UPN? It was the greatest! It was funny and clever and was something everyone could enjoy. The 2 main stars were cute, too. If anyone knows why UPN pulled it off the air or where I can find more info on the show, I'd be grateful! Bring back Guys Like Us!!!!

The 1982 sitcom "Square Pegs" starring a very young Sarah Jessica Parker as a misfit highschool student, only lasted one season. I only barely remember it, but my older brother thought it was great! It is described in the Internet Movie Database as "too good for TV", and it seems to have been the inspiration for the "Revenge of the Nerds" movies.

Parker Lewis Can't Lose was the best show that did'nt get enough time. I loved that show so much, it was so funny. I'm surprised it wasnt really popular.

Get A Life Died too young. Fox Had a cult hit on it's hands, and never gave the show the push it deserved. A Third season would've been better than a TV Show should be! Especially after the SPEWEY episodeat the end of season two...

Family Guy is another show Fox has been giving the shaft to. They let the Simpsons linger on and decline more and more as the episodes go on, and they show crap like Malcolm in the Middle (which is nothing but a Simpsons/Family Guy rip-off done live action in the first place), yet they never give Family Guy the chance to gain an audiance. Give FG 3 Months in the SImpsons time slot, and it'll be Fox's most popular show.

This isn't really a sitcom, but it is a comedy:

THE BEN STILLER SHOW!

One of the best attempts to take some of the audience that would watch Saturday Night Live, and FOX kills it off in mid-season! The Bastards! The last episode ran on HBO, and now if you want to see any of them, you've got to go to one of the Museums of Televison & Radio, in either New York City or LaLa Land.

I wouldn't consider it a sitcom, but defitely Freaks and Geeks was a good show that was pulled off the schedule too quickly. I know it aired on Saturday nights so I usually missed it myself but the eps I caught on cable have been hilarious.

In earlier times the networks seemed to give these promising young shows a chance to develop an audience but today they will not hesitate to yank it off immediatley if the ratings are not high. Another show that was popular in the 80's, "Facts of Life" would've been cancelled immediately today instead of given the facelift it required to make it a hit series.

Does anyone remember "Our House"? It starred Shannen Doherty, Wilfred Brimley, Chad Allan, and Deidre Hall, and it was on for only a couple of seasons in the mid-late 1980s. It was cancelled before its due IMHO.

As for the network on which it aired, I do not know. However, the Odyssey network was airing reruns of it 2-3 years ago.

Our House was a good show, it aired on NBC at 7:00 on Sunday. I still remember the one with the earthquake on David's birthday when he was stuck on a class field trip. Last fall it was airing on PAX tv, but I am not sure if it still is or not now.

Parker Lewis did get a lot of time. It ran on FOX for 3 years. Nurses should have ran longer. Not the 80's version, but the 90's version. I loved that show.

OK, a few years back I was highly anticipating a new show coming out with Glenn Frey of the rock group "Eagles" starring in it. I taped the first episide and then it was cancelled. Why in the world would they do that? One SHOW? It never came on again. I thought it was a good first show. They don't give some new shows a chance at all. The name escapes me at the moment, but I still have the tape.
