I don't know whether to believe that, how can each cable company be responsible for the running times of the shows? I wish I would have seen the episode (although it was at 3 in the morning) just so I could confirm the edit happened with me as well or was it just your company.

They don't edit the show, they just air the commercials, your cable company or satellite company has controll over the commercials, Not TVland. Tvland just have control over the television show it's self.
