I'll bet the her co-stars Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman (who won a freakin ACADEMY AWARD this year) show up on time and ready to work.

As LucyCompanyPhan pointed out, there are lots of other young actresses out there who would gladly take her place.

I wish Hollywood's fascination with Miss lohan would just end. When it comes right down to it, she's not that good.
Sorry to be a nitpicker, but actually Felicity was nominated and didn't win. However, I do agree. I'm sure Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman are not happy working with her. They seem like real professionals who take their work seriously. I think Lohan is a good actress, but she needs to take things more seriously.

I see her mom has now defended her, by saying that she has asthma, and it's hard to breathe in 105 degree weather. Okay, I don't have asthma, so I don't know how hard it is to breathe, but I gotta think it would have been easier had she, you know, went to bed and skipped the booze.

Her mom is enabling her.

Lohan gets mom's help

Lohan's mother, Dina (right), defended her daughter, saying "Lindsay was in 105 (degree weather) saying, 'Mommy, I feel sick; like I am going to faint.' She took herself to the hospital. She has asthma and in extreme cold or heat you can't breathe."

Dina Lohan is coming to daughter Lindsay's defense.
When a studio executive called Lindsay "irresponsible and unprofessional" after she did not show up for work on the set of her movie Georgia Rule, her mother took issue with that. "I'm a mother and will do what I need to do to protect my child. ... They worked the schedule around her. Everybody loves her," Dina tells TV's Access Hollywood in an interview airing today.

The drama began early last week. Lindsay's publicist said the actress, 20, was taken to a hospital in L.A. because she was overheated and dehydrated. After she didn't show up on set Wednesday, Morgan Creek Productions CEO James G. Robinson said in a letter dated that day to Lindsay: "We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so called 'exhaustion.' "

Dina tells Access: "She wasn't out all night."

Lindsay returned to work Thursday. Robinson told The Hollywood Reporter that he wrote the letter, which became public after it was posted on The Smoking Gun website Friday, because he "needed to remind her of her obligations."

You know she could control the asthma by not chain smoking anymore, but last I heard, her mother was "concerned" about her smoking.

Seems like her mom is just in it for the ride. Studios need to make money and if someone is making them lose money, they need to fix it. She's not the young innocent girl her mom claims her to be.

Actress Lindsay Lohan poses with her mother Dina, right, and her sister Aliana after they arrived to the premiere of her new film "Just My Luck'" in this file photo from May 9, 2006, in Los Angeles. A studio executive was "way out of line" for scolding Lindsay Lohan for her absences from the set of her new movie, Lohan's mother Dina tells "Access Hollywood" in an interview set to air Monday.

In any other business, if you were MIA and didn't give a good reason, you were out of there. If you were sick simply because you were hungover, etc., your employer would have a good reason for wondering if they should keep you on, especially if that was your reputation. Lohan has got to remember films are what put her on the map, and her reputation isn't getting her anywhere. Who gives a crap what her dingbat mom says, the silly enabler!!

What I don't understand is why the hell she's being allowed to drink alcohol at nightclubs, when she's only 20 years old?? I think that club, and any other that serves her alcohol should be fined big time.

Actually Huffman lost the academy award to Reese Witherspoon, but she did win an emmy.

I have to agree with everyone else saying that Lohan is annoying. She's clearly hanging out with the party-goers and the most annoying group of fake celebrities. I think Lohan has done some good stuff and has some really great movies coming up, but she's asking for a backlash. She's just making herself look terrible. Lindsay is starring in a movie with Jane Fonda & Felcity Huffman - this isn't some dumb disney movie. She has the chance to do great things with herself with the best working actors and like I said, waste.

Well, no offense to Lohan's family but wasn't it a year ago they were haven't their own public problems. Why is it so hard for celebrities to lay low. They beg for this kind of attention if you ask me.

Now, I don't have asthma but I do have a heart condition and having preseason practice in 100 degree weather running around -I've never fainted and nor had the other kids with asthma or not. I'm not comparing the situation, but just saying, it can easily be prevented.

I'd also like to say that I've been on the inside of clubs and it gets FAR hotter dancing than it would be sitting around a movie set.

Does anyone have anything nice to say about this girl in the industry? If so, I've never heard it uttered. Which leads me to ask: Why are people still giving this girl work?

The club owners don't care as long as they get plenty of press. Nobody is going to turn away some hot young actress or celebutant if they want to party in your club.

I would. I wouldn't give a damn how famous the person was. I think everyone should have to play by the same rules.

Lindsay Lohan has actually become a joke. Nobody takes her seriously. Apparently, her mom says in that Access Hollywood interview that "she'll win an academy award for Georgia Rule", but she's just kissing Lindsays ass along with everybody else.
Back when Mean Girls came out, Lindsay had a promising career and a bright future...now look at her. She pretty much sabotaged her career all by herself.

True. Look at Corey Feldman and Drew Barrymore, they were known to enter clubs and drink as young as 12!!! Drew stated by the time she was 12 she was a full-fledged alcoholic.

If she's not careful, she's going to lose everything. Studio heads can still blackball you, it's not like she's Sophia Loren.

She isn't even all that great of an actress! I mean, I loved Mean Girls, but she's not fabulous or anything! She needs a reality check!
