yes, you can buy the last episode on either VHS or DVD! But I've heard the DVD version is very bad quality. Check the side frame on this page where it says purchase 'TV series on VHS or DVD' to check it out.
Good luck! |

I personally think that The Wonder Years could have and should have gone on one more year. I don't understand why the series ended just after Kevin's junior year. It would have been more approprate to end the series when Kevin graduates from high school in 1974.

I dont know about arguing with the time it ended, but with the way it ended, yes! Kevin and Winnie should have ended up together, and it should ahev showed like wedding pictures, or pictures of them with kids of their own. However, I guess that would have been too predictable eh?

The answer is, of course, YES and NO.
With the network restrictions on mature content in place, the show had to end. If however, wisdom had ruled and the network would have allowed more mature subject matter, the show could have and should have lasted longer. |

In short, I didn't like it that the writers had Kevin "walk on the wild side" instead of be his innocent self like he was in the first few seasons. The writers could have studied episodes of "Leave It To Beaver" or "The Andy Griffith Show" (together those shows went almost 500 episodes) if they wanted to search for ideas--G-rated ideas. |

First of all I would like to say "Boy Meets World" Ending exactly when it should have. I think on "The Wonder Years" Winnie and Kevin should have ended up together. It would have been much better. The show ended sad instead of happy. JMO!

I am a die-hard fan of the wonder years, but as i could hardly walk when it was being aired for the first time and because repeats here in Australia are so irregular I have not seen the final episode. However I have seen well and truley enough episodes and heard plenty about the episode to pass judgement. I think it should have continued for one more season at least, see Kevin in final year and give the writers, producers ect a bit more time to write a good quality final episode. I strongly disagree with those who say they wished it ended hapily beacsue if you know the Wonder Years at all, you will know that it wasnt always about 'happiness' and often the episodes full of sadness and pain were the best.
