wow, somebody has the guts to admit that latter Happy Days isn't THAT bad. Season 10 is a lot better than people give it credit for, with Crystal Bernard and hell, Billy Warlock (Flip) is even hotter now than he was then. The show needed a break away from all Joanie Loves Chachi hoohaa that was all over seasons 8 and 9, and it was great to see Arnold back too.

For some reason, I always find myself liking penultimate seasons of long-running shows that are generally hated by the majority, besides season 10 of HD (which you like second of all), I also love season 6 of Buffy and season 8 of Facts Of Life, even though they make the bottom of a lot of peoples lists, but both are in my top 2 lists for those shows.

I really liked Fonzie's relationship with Ashley. I mean, obviously, the golden years of the show are with Richie and Ralph. However, I enjoy watching some of the later seasons more. I also like Beverly Ann on "The Facts of Life".

I also stated that season 6 of "I Love Lucy" is my favorite. It seems like most fans didn't like it as much as the rest. I actually liked their move to the country.

As a kid, I liked the Terri Alden episodes of "Three's Company" the best. Now, I'm sort of like Chrissy episodes more.

some of those episodes with Heather are kinda hard to watch knowing what happened to Heather O'Rourke though. The Poltergeist movies are kinda hard for the same reason.

You could tell they were using Heather as a Raven-Symone type of "let's add a really cute kid to a show that began before they were even born" formula

I watched the season before I learned of her death. I was really shocked when I found out. It seems odd, the only dead cast member of "Happy Days" is the little girl.

On a much smaller scale, I was sad when Ashley left the show. I can't imagine Fonzie being with anyone better (for a long term relationship, that it).

It's been a while since I've seen them, but I liked those episodes too. I liked everything really, the New York shows, the Hollywood shows, the Europe shows and the Connecticut(?) shows. Right now I'd pick season 4 just because it's the most recent one I've seen. With the season 5 dvd coming Tuesday, I might change my feeling.

Now, once I get you to like seasons 4 through 7 of SBTB: The New Class over the first three, my work will be done.

Penultimate seasons always end up being my least favorite. Cheers, Frasier, The Cosby Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Coach, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Step By Step are all series where I believe the penultimate season is the weakest.

As for HD, the first 7 seasons are the best.

And for TC.... I prefer the Terri character, but the Chrissy years are better. Although I'm starting to sway towards the Terri years simply because I think Larry was the best part of the show.

why was Linda Purl let go anyways? to make room for the return of Scott and Erin? it was great to see Fonzie settling into somewhat of a domestic life and then suddenly they've broken up.

I think what makes Heather's death so tragic was how young she was. I literally remember watching Poltergeist II on HBO 2 weeks before she died, and being stunned (I was only 8) when I woke up for school that morning with my dad telling me she just died.

I actually liked season 4. Mostly for the Ryan-Rachel relationship and I liked Nicky Farina when he first came to the show. Other than that season, I prefer the earlier seasons. Season 6/7, will always be my least favorite.

yep, season 7 of Cosby was rancid.

I think what I loved about season 6 of Buffy and season 8 of FOL was that it marked the seasons that the characters were officially adults, and I think a lot of fans hated the fact that the characters on both shows were twentysomethings after liking them as teens for so many years. Plus, I do think Beverly Ann was the caffeine jolt the show needed once Mrs. Garrett started appearing less and less.

Mrs. Garrett was my favorite part of FOL. I liked Beverly Ann, but it wasn't quite the same.

I think Beverly was great in season 8, she really gave the show new life, it was like watching a spinoff with the girls that was actually a damn good show. But by season 9, the show was running on empty and was beyond saving, it was just time to go by then.

I have a feeling that I'll like season 8 of "That 70's Show" whereas most fans won't, since both Eric and Kelso are off the show. I've read about the next season, and it sounds pretty good.

"One Day at a Time" is another show I enjoyed the later years to, more than the early years. I know that's not the original thread topic, but it seems to have evolved into it. I don't know enough of the show to place the seasons in order. I love it, but haven't seen it since the E! reruns I believe.

If just Kelso left, it'd be awesome. But Eric was my favorite part of the show, and without him I won't bother watching. However, Ashton Kutcher destroyed the entire series for me, and I can barely stomach watching it anymore.
