They're beating a dead horse with this show. They should have ended it last season. Quantity does not reflect quality. Just like Laverne & Shirley, All In The Family and Roseanne's final seasons (8, 9 and 9), this show should not be continuing. Main characters are leaving and it has been proven time and time again that replacements do not work out (Coy and Vance from The Dukes of Hazard, Becky No. 02 from Roseanne, Lionel No. 02 from The Jeffersons, etc.). If this show survives to a 9th season, I will be very, very shocked.

Well Said, It should have really end last season but FOX Wants money with the show so I can't really blame them. But If they go to the 9th season, then I'll go ! So lets hope this is the last season!]

That seems too extreme. They seem to young to get married and to make that comitment.

Spoilers for the 5th episode

-The whole episode works backward so we start with Red and Kitty's 25th annversary, all the Kids are there.
-The stipper is still with Hyde and holding his hand in ths scene. (aaaaahhh)
-Kelso comes in and PROPOSES to Jackie (yes, I was shocked as well)
-The next scene goes back 2 days and Kelso is sayng how he thnks that him and Jackie belong together. Says he will propose to her. The stripper comes in with something skimpy on and the boys all approve.
-JAckie talking to Donna and Fez in the kitchen. Fez lets it slip that Kelso is going to propose. Jacke says that she has nothing going for her right now, so gets excited and we're led to believe she will accept.
-Donna strongly objects to this saying she is making a mistake.
-Kelso goes back to the boys in the basement and tells them he got a job in Chicago as a Security guard for the Playboy mansion. Hyde tells him this is his last chance with JAckie (????) and says Kelso should propose to her now. Fez agrees saying that Hyde really messed JAckie up and Kelso should take advantage while she's vulnerable. Kelso agrees that he will propose, but is unsure now.
-Donna again speaks to JAckie, saying that she should imagine what lfe with Kelso would be like. A flashforward with KElso walking into their home announcing he had a good day as he had another affair and will make it up to her by buying puppies. The flash forward ends and Jackie still thinks it's a good idea, but by her expression, is starting to doubt herself.
-Back at the Anniversary party we started at, where Kelso proposes, there is a moment of silence and JAckie says flatly 'No' to Kelso's proposal, saying it would be a really bad dea. Kelso immedately starts jumng up and down gettng excited and hugging her saying that he is so happy and that he can now go to Chicago.
-It finishes with a circle scene and Kelso saying he loves and will miss everybody.

Sorry for the rush job. I don't have much time. This is the main storyline, but there is also a small one wth Donna waiting for Eric to call from Africa, but never does and also Red and Kitty agree to go to the hotel where they spent their wedding night and when they turn up to the party they look a exhausted and happy from their wild time at the hotel. Overall I got the impression that Jackie might be single for a while and Hyde (gulp) may stick with the stripper for a little longer. But I do also sense that she won't be around for the whole season.

Bruce Willis will guest star as the guy who hires Kelso.

Oh and it looks like Donna broke up with Eric in the 6th episode, and that Jackie/Hyde got back together.

Boo to both of those.
To some fans, that is the double kiss of death.

I can't say it's jumping the shark, because that happened awhile ago.

They should really just name this season Trainwreck.

Because I know it's going to be awful, yet I can't help but watch.

I know on here most people don't like Jackie/Hyde, but the majority of their fanbase are Jackie/Hyde fans and the writers/producers etc. know it. Even the director, David Trainer is a big fan of Jackie/Hyde. But yeah i really hate what they've done to Donna/Eric, cause they've made the breakup his fault, cause he forgot to call her. In the sides they have for the 8th episode it's Donnas birthday and Randy starts to go after her.

And Fez is actually getting a storyline. He'll be dating an older women named Marsha.

Ahhh cool...it'll be interesting to see the Fez thing. As far as Jackie/Hyde go...well, you're right-- they do know it's popular with the younger viewers and they'll keep milking it for all it's worth. Go to any 70's Show community online, and you'll see TONS of Jackie/Hyde worshippers, so I guess it's a popular addition to the plotline.

Actually scratch what i said about Jackie/Hyde getting back together in the 6th episode. They probably will but not yet.

I just got this info from next week's TV Guide which features Returning Favorite shows. This is what they had to say about 70's:

WHERE WE LEFT OFF: Eric (Topher Grace) left for Africa. Hyde (Danny Masterson) caught Jackie (Mila Kunis) and Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) in a hotel room in Chicago. Red (Kurtwood Smith) finally busted the boys smoking pot in the basement.

WHO'S NEW: Josh Meyers (Mad TV) as RAndy, the new cool guy who works with Hyde at the record store. "He's got a nose for mischief" says executive producer Rob DesHotel. "He's going to shake things up."

LOVE, '70S STYLE: Donna (Laura Prepon) tries to stay true to Eric but is tempted to cheat. Fez (Wilmer Valderama) begins a serious romance with his former stalker, Caroline. Hyde is still licking his wounds, while Jackie becomes enamored with Randy.

So he was a loser who went to Africa instead of marrying the love of his life then came back to America and created a show about the '70s where it started out good until the 7th season then became crap?

Okay their confusing the hell out of me. Apparently Donna already broke up with Eric, how I don't Know. Her and Randy go on a date in the 6th episode, and Randy makes Fez pee on himself. Leo turns out to be a war veteran who has a purple heart so Red takes him out for drinks.

Hey everyone I just got back from this Friday's taping. To start everything off I was talking to someone who attended last weeks taping and she said that in that episode Jackie and Fez think that Donna is cheating on Eric with Randy and they write him a letter to tell him about it. Hyde makes them tell Donna what they did and then they learn that Eric broke up with her 3 weeks ago and she didn't want to tell anyone . That's all she told me about that taping.

This week the show revolved around around a big ceramic clown that the gang steals from Fatso Burger. They steal the clown and it pretty much sits in the basement and hangs out with them. Kitty and Bob are really upset by the theft and Red could really care less. When he finds out that the kids stole the clown he tells him that he thinks its funny.

Donna goes insane while they are planning on stealing the clown. She has a lot of crazy lines like when they are debating whether or not to ask Red to borrow the Vista Crusier she says something along the lines of "I'll just hotwire the S.O.B." Jackie is scared to death of clowns and she tells us why. Jackie does a lot of screaming in this episode. Fez I think is jealous of Randy because he makes fun of him a lot. Hyde doesn't really do much in this episode just basically makes his normal sarcastic comments and helps steal the clown.

There is this one scene while they are trying to steal the clown and Bob comes up to the drivethru to order food. Fez stands behind the clown and takes Bob's order and then tells him that they're closed. It's really funny I think that you all are going to laugh at that when you see it. Other scenes that are kind of funny are Fez and Randy playing rock, paper, scissors with the ceramic clown... And we all know how great Fez is at that game. Eventually, Kitty comes down to the basement and they hide the clown head in the freezer which she of course finds. Then they drive the clown back to Fatso Burger and return it. That's pretty much the end of the episode. The tag is of Jackie having a nightmare about the clown which is also pretty funny.

I thought I'd give some info on what the cast was doing inbetween takes. Wilmer and Don came out inbetween takes and talked to the audience and answered questions. It was this womans birthday and Wilmer sang to her. Then some idiot in the auidence asked Wil for Lindsey's phone number... How rude can you get? Someone asked about the stripper and he said that we have to wait and find out so as far as I know she may be gone but who knows. Danny and Mila were REALLY cozy with each other. They were walking around his arm around her neck and hers around his waist. When the director was talking to the cast she was sitting on his lap playing with his hand. Jackie and Hyde aren't back together as of right now so the lap sitting wasn't scripted. Kurtwood and Debra Jo weren't around too much and Josh Meyers was just hanging around every now and then. Laura didn't look like she was in too great of a mood.
