I hate how they call it mental retardation. People with physical and mental disabilities are people too, and should be treated as such, and not use the word retardation. They should use mentally challenged, physically challenged, or as my mom calls me handicapable instead of handicapped. I have a physically disability, and need very little help. I am a determined young adult, and want and am trying to do things on my own! It hurts me when people shove people with any kind of disabilities out the door. So, I am a little different as was that Kennedy sister, along with other people in this world, but we are human beings, and have feelings too. We should be treated equally, and sometimes I feel we are not, and that's sad!

I completely agree with you.

I have a mild physical disability, and I hate how people sometimes look at me as a handicap instead of a person with feelings. We're people too.

i haven't heard of phyiscal disability before.
