I'm sure there was another reference about the Bunkers on The Jeffersons. At the end of an episode didn't Gloria call Louise to tell her about Edith's death. Louise then told George or somebody that she just lost a special and dear friend. You didn't see Gloria, just Louise answering the phone.

No that never happened. The only reference to the Bunkers on the Jeffersons was in the episode-Louise and George in a Bind. When they were being robbed and tied up in the kitchen. They were reflecting back while they were tied up

I can't believe it. I was almost certain I saw Louise receive a call about Edith's death. It was a really super brief moment. I must be out of it!!

Unless you can tell me the season and episode when you saw this, it never happened
