I think Paula is right. Alot of JPL fans are now fans of John Stevens. BUT WHY???

George and John Stevens deserved to be the bottom 2. and im so sorry if im offending anyone, but i'm very upset that LaToya (the best singer) was in the bottom 3 AGAIN, with Fantasia, who's also really good. But aah, me complaining about John is already too much so i wont complain directly about him. However George was one of my faves, but i hate how people have been voting him to safety after 2 LOUSY performances!!! but i just have to say, that if people continue making this into a popularity contest, it will ruin AI *runs and hides*. I guess we'll see George and John doing some Spanish Pop next week with Gloria Estefan (rumored theme).

We're down to 6 now and my favorite didnt get cut in the top 7 round like last year

im not a john stevens fan either.

but whoa, even Paula admitted about him surviving due to popularity votes. On Ryan Seacrest's show one day, Paula talked about how it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out who's doing good and bad (refrerring to John's "my girl" and "crocodile rock"). And on ET tongiht, she said that John should go home because shes not up to par with the others. And also when Ryan asked for her opinion tonight of the bottom 3, Paula said "maybe all the JPL votes went to John". I would be better off if all the John votes had been given to JPL.

It was disappointing, but i got over it..... in 2 weeks

and yup, next week's theme is something along the lines of spanish pop/salsa/etc ... Gloria Estefan is going to guest judge, with the Miami Sound Machine thing as the background band

That was definitely shocking. I was never a huge Jennifer fan, but she had a really great voice. John Stevens has been annoying me lately. He keeps on ruining chances for people. Last week, JPL and now this week Jennifer. Unless he's unbelievably good next week, I probably won't vote for him anymore.

I HATE John Stevens with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns! He's horrible! I bet it's all the old fogies voting for the wanna be Sanatra! Jennifer was my favorite! I was agahst! America are you crazy?

I really really really dislike him too.... aah. Im pretty sure he's gonna leave next week. There's no way he can last another week against the 5 he's up against

Okay, stop dissing John! I am a fan of his and you all are starting to hurt my feelings. I undertand that you don't like him, but the constant negative comments are annoying. I think it is cool that he sings a different style from everyone else.

Sorry but I don't think it's cool at all. He can sing a different style but whatever style he sings, he just can sing as well as the others.

YES! My GOD I cannot believe the 3 best were in the bottom 3. I thought for sure that George Huff and John Stevens would be in the bottom three. I cant believe how bad John Stevens is, and people still vote for him. And everyone's different I guess, but there is absolutely nothing hot, or even warm about John Stevens imo.

Well...sorry you feel that way. Really I am- but around here things have been tough lately because first of all there are lots of JPL fans, and I personally (being one of them) think that John should have gone last week. I mean, between him and JPL, IMO JPL was the better one. Then tonight he was safe- and caused a really talented singer, Jennifer Hudson, to get voted out. It's not that he's not talented, because he definitely is. But on American Idol- you need to be able to sing many different styles of music. And well, he can't. He can only pretty much stick to that old-sounding stuff...like what he performed on movie night.
