To be honest, I don't even remember the burnt guy from the English Patient. I despised that movie so much, that I sort of blocked it out of my mind. All I really can remember about that movie, is William Defoe's character being really weird.

I totally agree with you on Slingblade! I thought that, and Welcome To The Dollhouse were the best movies of 1996. I still can't believe Billy Bob Thornton was able to keep his jaw like that for the entire film. That must have been really painful after all the months it must have taken to shoot the film.

I rented "Spy Game", starring Robert Redford and Brad Pitt and stopped watching after the first hour and 15 minutes when I realized I had zoned out on it 30 minutes earlier. Boooring, though it's from a directer who's done other movies I really liked (Enemy of The State, Crimson Tide.)

Someone mentioned "Being John Malkovich" I made it all the way through that one, but still didn't like it.

I give up on many rental movies at home, but the only movie I ever walked out of the theater on was Dune. To this day, it's a joke with me and my husband.
He'll ask what I have for rentals, and I tell him I got Dune and I want to watch it all weekend, over and over.

I first saw that movie in 4th grade. I refused to step in a shower for weeks because of a scene in that movie and I vowed to never watch it again. Of course, I saw it several times yeas later. Leonard Maltin says that this movie is not recommended to anyone who has ever covered their eyes during a movie. He's right. The first time around I didn't cover my eyes but whenever I see it I have to (like the scene where the spider jumps on the camera lens).

I've never walked out of a cinema during a film because I didn't like it- I guess it's cos I'm cheap, and I'm not paying for a film then not watching it. Also, I'd feel sum kind of guilt from doing that!

off topic but along those same lines, that's why I don't like someone talking to me during a movie. I didn't pay to see a movie and also chit chat about it during the movie. If you wanna talk, wait till the movie's over. I always try to ignore friends when they say something to me during a movie, hoping that they get the message that I 'm focused on the movie, not talking to them.

That would be Cujo.

Sleepy Hollow. I had to stop watching it when the guy's head was cut off, it was way too scary for me to watch.
