Yeah, and as Jay Leno said last night, gas prices have gone down a whole 3 cents recently. That's to offset when it goes up to $8 a gallon by Labor Day!!

Near where I live there are 3 gas stations around each other, a Circle K on one side of the road, and a BP and I think Exxon on other side. At Circle K it's $3.95, the other 2 it's $4.09. It always surprises me when I see people gassing up at the 2 that are $4.09. I just don't get it.

I think people think that BP and Exxon have a better grade of gas than Circle K, so thats the reason they pay the higher price. I buy the cheapest, which in this case, would be Circle K. Gas is gas to me.

Yeah, same here. I know there are some cars out there that require the owner fuel up on only premium because of the warranty. What a rip-off!!

Some people prefer to use premium even though their car don't call for it. Regular gas is so high today, i couldn't imagine having to use premium gas for my car.

Ever notice that when crude goes up, gas seems to skyrocket overnight. But when it falls again gas takes its dear sweet little old time coming back down?

On the way home I saw it for $3.649 at a BP station. Or, more accurately, bp since it uses lower case letters on the sign now.

OhioGasPrices.com reports two $3.599 sightings, one in Mansfield and one in Ontario (a Mansfield suburb)! Nothing under $3.60 here in Dayton ... yet. (There's a $3.609 on the north side.)

A $3.599 posting has been spotted in Dayton at a Marathon on Needmore Road (north side)! Not only that, on the way home $3.699 was the most I saw! Goodbye and good riddance, $4 gasoline!

There are now six stations under $3.60 in Ohio, including one $3.539! (They are up in the Mansfield area, by the way.)

At OhioGasPrices.com somebody reported a $3.399 price in Belpre, Ohio, on US 50 across from Parkersburg, West Virginia. I don't quite believe it since (1) that part of the state is usually the most expensive, and (2) there is a $3.999 station in the same town, a 60-cent differential.

Oh, and I saw it as low as $3.579 here in Dayton.

I saw gas for $3.79 today, er... yesterday, it's 2:11 AM.

BTW, I live in Detroit MI, but that gas price was at a gas station just outside of the city.

It is more expensive in my neighborhood. It got to as much as $4.07.
