Yeah! We have a subway here too, and other train lines, but they are fairly new and don't go everywhere as the busses do, so they seem more tame ! The busses out here are wild like the NY subway !

Mark your calendars- May 12 is The Blob (1958) on Sven (I think the date is right?) Anyway, wow! This will be a treat! I know RetroLee wanted to see this movie with Sven's shtick!

Also- has anybody seen the promos on Antenna for "Small Business Day" April 28th or whatever they're calling it?

I've been on the train in Chicago... I don't live in a place where public transportation like that is a thing.

OMG!! Something really coincidental ! All the Quisp talk and that Quisk/Quake thread and WHO do you think had a cameo in Chappaquiddick ?

Spoiler Alert :

QUISP!!! Yep!! I swear to God!!!! There was a scene where a TV was on and a Quisp commercial came on ! It was really brief , but I was like OMG, it's QUISP!!!

Anyhow I just saw this movie and it was really good! Very good acting and I learned alot I didn't really know cause I was a little girl. And the poor girl Mary Jo had a horrible death , and it was really sad , but I also found myself feeling a little sorry for Ted. The family history and all ! Ted had really low self esteem, he didn't live up to his family expectations and well I'll leave it at that before Dad the King reads this!

But than let me add, I think the movie could have been longer and got more into Ted and Mary Jo's actual relationship? It left you wondering? I think that was the intention maybe? For the audience to kind of come out feeling the way I do. He was kind of an ass and a buffoon but like I said it made you feel kind of sorry for him ! And in his position and being advised to cover it up , It's hard to explain and also as I said the poor girl. Very tragic!!

And also Michael Lembeck just turned 21 when the Chappaquiddick tragedy happened !! About as old as he was in my avatar!!

Everyone in the theater thinking: "This is a serious movie. Why is that woman in the ninth row so excited about Quisp?"

If they were bored then they obviously missed the Quisp commercial. They should go back and see the movie again.

I went off my strict rule of ONLY using Michael's characters names for males in the A-Z games ! In the "A my name is" game, Michael never played a character named Yogi!!

Yeah!! Totally!!! If it were a Quake commercial than yes it still would be boring! But a Quisp, yeah that would make all the difference had they noticed this , and they would have really enjoyed this movie!!
