We know ABC has at least 11 sitcoms, so maybe another will be added, maybe My Wife and Kids or 8 Simple Rules are not dead just yet.

Of course, ABC's fall schedule is far from definite. Look at NBC. There was a rough copy that Pavanbadal posted and the actual schedule veered quite differently from the rough copy. Sure, it was a rough copy, but there were still some surprises.
I'm still having a hard time realizing ABC is actually going to have 10-12 on the fall lineup? WOW. I have a feeling four sitcoms will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Of course, one of those nights could have just 2 and leave the other two for mid-season. We'll see what happens. Things aren't looking that great for 8 Simple Rules but there is still a glimmer of hope I suppose. |

If there are indeed 12, then I think Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8-10 will be all sitcoms. My guess is IF that happens AFV stays Sundays at 7, and Supernanny/Wife Swap air on Mondays at mid-season. That's the only thing I can figure out... unless ABC will air Supernanny Mondays at 8(nip the FOX ripoff in the behind) and then bring in Wife Swap mid-season, or air them both on Saturdays, those are the only options.

As of now ABC is planning two sitcom hours on Tuesdays & Fridays (like it is now) and adding an hour on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Though, I'm sure Wednesdays is just a bad rumor.

From what I've observed, rough schedules tend to leak out around 12-18 hours before that network's upfront presentation.
Something that must be said: Until the network makes an official presentation, we have no idea WHAT will ultimately happen. Remember, as an example. Crossing Jordan wasn't in ANY of the three scenarios in the Rough, yet it's still in it's Sunday/10 timeslot. |

I found this at the Smallville News main page:
Here's the article: NBC, ABC, FOX and the WB Set Initial 2005-06 Season Orders By The Futon Critic Staff LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC, ABC, FOX and the WB have leaked their initial 2005-06 season orders as well as nearly all their renewals and cancellations of existing series. The news comes with barely 12 hours until NBC presents its fall 2005 schedule to the advertising community, a presentation which for all intents and purposes remains a complete mystery. Nearly a half-dozen variations on NBC's schedule have floated around this weekend with everything from "The West Wing" moving to Sundays to "Joey" moving to Tuesdays. Nevertheless with executives and producers heading to New York City over the weekend, the series that did and didn't make the cut have become pretty clear. Among the surprise renewals - FOX's "The Bernie Mac Show," ABC's "Jake in Progress" and "Less Than Perfect" - three shows widely considered longshots to return. Conversely, ABC has pulled the plug on "My Wife and Kids" and "Eight Simple Rules," two series thought to have brighter prospects than "Jake" and "Perfect." Overall here's a breakdown of the pickups thus far. Note that this list comes from a complication of various trade publications and industry insiders. I really hope ABC is smart enough NOT to schedule sitcoms on Wednesday night. The 10pm hour needs fixing, but it has a monster hit in Lost. Don't tempt fate, ABC.
