Default The "Younger" or "Older" Beaver??

I have been debating about this issue for the longest time and I still don't know which I like better?? Do you like when Beaver was "younger" or "older??" I'm sort've mixed on this one!! While I thought Beaver was SOOOO adorable when he was just a little tyke, it was nice to see how he blossomed out as a young teenager. I found the storylines were better when he was younger, then when he got older. I have no problem when it comes to which Wally I preferred. I enjoyed the 'older' Wally better, because you enjoyed the interaction with Eddie Haskell, that you really didn't have when he just started out. I couldn't get into the Chester or Tooey characters, like I could with Eddie & Lumpy. Quite honestly, I liked Eddie Haskell's character better when he was older as well.... Whata you guys think??

I would have to go with the young Beaver because he was so innocent yet mischevious. Also those are my favorite episodes because i was always a fan of Larry Mondello. The show was still great when Beaver grew up but I just prefer him young I guess its a sentimental thing.

I prefer the younger Beaver.
Not only was he cute but it seems like
the story was more focused on him.
In the later shows it was almost as if he became secondary character.
Not that they weren`t still good mind you!
I too liked the older Wally.
Actually he was quite a cutie!

I think you're absolutely right about that Sharon!! They did focus on the younger Beaver in the earlier years!!! I also felt that the storylines dictated his age. It seemed that some of the storylines when he got older, became a bit repetitive!!

I prefer the older Beaver cause it cracks me up watching his head bob up and down as he talks.
But Larry and Beav shows were fun to watch too.

I love Beaver at any age, but I liked his and Wally's friends better in the early years. I wish Tooey had been kept around. I like nerds. And Larry was my favorite of Beaver's friends.

I liked Beaver in his younger years the best. And Wally in the later years the best.
