Jesse Katsopolis or Cochran
During the first season rum John Stamos Character Jesse was named Cochran... but during the second season his last name changed to Katsopolis... i don't recall them explaining why they changed his last name?

They didn't. But the reason was, IIRC, John Stamos wanted to bring more of his Greek heritage into Jesse, so they gave Jess or more Greek-sounding name.
