i do agree with you, because when they have a 24 hour marathon of one show, for example, nobody sits there and watches trhe whole 24 hours, so that means you'll miss something!!
...wait a minute... i remember the sci-fi channel had a 24-hour Farscape marathon once, and there were 2 or 3 people who posted on the message board that they watched all 24 hours... I think that's a little nutty...

even that 4-hour Wings marathon wednesdays in the summer is a little long, i think. I don't think I would watch 8 episodes in one shot... I'll tape it and watch a few episodes in a row every night or whatever, but not 8 in a row! I loved the 2-episodes-per-night thing. that was great. but anything more than that of any show for me isn't the coolest...
so yeah, I agree with you....
