Even supermarkets and other stores have begun playing Christmas music in October too. For example Kmart began playing Christmas music after Halloween and I noticed it when my mom and I would shop at Kmart every year and my mom asked me "Hawkee why is Kmart playing Christmas music after Halloween?" and I replied "I don't know" but Macy's begins Christmas music after Thanksgiving and ends it New Year's Day. But if radio stations were smart they would play some Christmas songs that haven't been heard in a while instead of songs like Last Christmas and All I Want For Christmas Is You and Feliz Navidad and add some oldies like The Drifters superb version of White Christmas and The Supremes Children's Christmas Song or Roger Whittaker's wonderful song Darcy The Dragon. But I do wish the country music stations would do all country Christmas songs where you could hear classics from Gene Autry and Brenda Lee and Buck Owens and it would be so wonderful
