All of these great fanfiction ideas for later seasons of "Beaver" and the cute "Beaver's Wedding" gave me the idea for this one.
Widower Wally gets a second chance at love when Beaver and Violet fix him up with his daughter's nursery school teacher.

EXT. - THE CLEAVER HOME - 211 PINE STREET, MAYFIELD - NIGHT
CUT TO:
INT. - HALLWAY - NIGHT
June Cleaver peaks into the guest room where four-year-old Janey Cleaver is sound asleep. She closes the bedroom door and crosses the hall to the boys' old bedroom, where Wally is unpacking his suitcase.
JUNE: Janey's first day of nursery school really wore her out. She's fast asleep. Reminds me a little of you when you were her age.
Wally smiles.
WALLY: And now look at me -- I'm graying, I need reading glasses, and I'm raising a little girl alone.
JUNE: You're not alone, Wally. You've got me to help you -- and Beaver and Violet too.
WALLY: I never imagined that when Beaver and I were growing up that he'd marry Violet Rutherford and have four kids!
JUNE: Your father and I never imagined we'd be related to Fred Rutherford!
Wally sighs as he sits on the edge of his bed.
WALLY: Do you miss Dad?
June sits next to Wally on the bed.
JUNE: Every day.
WALLY: I miss Sallie so much that my heart aches, Mom. I don't know what made me agree to go out on a date with Laura.
June smiles.
JUNE: I think it's a combination of Beaver's salesmanship and the fact that maybe you're ready to start dating again.
