I feel that's not fair to David. I think he said it was his accountant that came up with the write-off idea. I can't remember for sure, but either way, I still don't understand why you're so hard on most of the parents when this is one of your favorite shows. What would be disturbing is if he abused her or disowned her. David wasn't perfect, but he had good parts to him. He really showed how good his heart was in "Where's Poppa?", and Blair told him though he wasn't the ideal father, he was good enough for her, and she loved him.

I liked BLAIR's parents overall: they weren't the adult role model like MRS G, but still.
In fact, i liked all of the girl's parents (although i'd say TOOTIE's parents were my least favourite)....
