In 2002 Reading Rainbow got an updated image and a brand new intro and theme song performed by R&B singer Chaka Khan. It's a shame that Reading Rainbow got cancelled because I believe Reading Rainbow should be revived because kids love to read and Reading Rainbow would do great in a new version on PBS
