You know, before I read this thread, I thought it was going to be about the absence of Carly and Spencer's mother. Miranda Cosgrove was hoping Tina Fey would play her on the show, if you haven't read that article already.
Here's a question the writer of that article overlooked; Has Spencer tried to DATE Sam, or any of iCarly's pre-teen or teenaged female fans? No. All the women he has tried to go out with have been adults. Now let's look at all the people the article suggests that he hangs out with.
Lewbert; A mean-spirited, arrogant, uptight bastard who makes Anita Bryant look like Joni Mitchell if she were stoned all the time.
T-Bo: Not a bad guy, but a little too hell-bent on getting people to eat foods they don't want at the Groovy Smoothie.
Marissa Benson: Seriously? She doesn't even like the guy. The woman has the same approach to him that she has to raising Freddie.
