I made an off-color joke at a retirement party last year which nearly made me get suspended...but at the time, I wish I should've got the suspension since my ex-pastor was in a scandal a-la Jimmy Bakker and Jessica Hahn...so I could get my **** together. But that comment I made me think of this Elton John song...
...but I'm STILL alive and STILL have the job that I thought I would lose...if I had to clean-out my desk at my job...which is my church...I would make a vow to never go there again! I'd even renounce my membership there...who needs church when you have Jesus?
That same week my pastor resigned...I knew someone who committed suicide...making 2013 for me the worst year ever!
