Clinton Way/Clinton Ave. doesn't exist. It's fictional. They needed a street address for the Brady's So Lloyd Schwartz suggested Clinton Way/Ave. after the street his grandparents liven on. Also it was never mentioned or even hinted on the show that the Brady's lived in Santa Monica. That's just something Sherwood Schwartz told Bob Reed to shut him up. There was a Brady script about Mike installing a payphone in the house. And Sherwood knew Bob would do the homework to see if that was even legal and then complain to him about it. So Sherwood called the phone company himself and found out the one place in the U.S. that it's legal to install a payphone in a private residence is Santa Monica. Armed with this info. Sherwood was ready when Bob called to complain about this plot point. Where do the Brady's live Bob asked. Oh somewhere in southern California. But where in Southern California Bob asked.
