Those are interesting comments in light of the fact that there is a controversy going on at USC (Pete Carroll's former employer) right now regarding recruiting violations. In fact that may be the reason Pete Caroll was willing to leave USC and sign on with the Seahawks. He is attempting to distance himself from the controversy.
