"Black Betty" is the one hit by a band called Ram Jam. I remember that song when I was a kid. I didn't really care for it at first, but the last few times I listened to it, I thought it was really cool. It jammed.
It came out in 1976. I was thinking, who does this sound like?...kinda funky, really wild. I thought it was silly when some friends told me it was a "racist" song, and I'm thinking, WHAAAAAT????
I didn't get that at all, someone was prolly being a little PC. I think you'll have to
look around for the album in used record stores.
