In a school play this boy was supposed to recite the Gettysburg Address but instead he quoted a different Abe Lincoln speech about how we should all be treated the same. This was very poignant because of how he was ostracized following his diagnoses.

That was a very good episode - from the second season. Yes, the boy did get it via a blood transfusion. This was one of the first (if not THE first) episodes dealing with AIDS on a sitcom. Of course, times have changed in the 23 years since its aired, so it is interesting to watch in a historical perspective.
