That was a sad episode when looking back at the life Thelma's mother. I sure can relate to the scene when Ernie had to explain to Thelma that her mom passsed away. I was 7 when my mom died and that was a hard episode to watch. I saw it for the first time last night. I love the bond between Thelma and Deacon Frye. You can tell they are close.
