Jennifer Garner is fulfilling a lifelong ambition by taking to the Broadway stage. Garner will star alongside Kevin Kline in a revival of Cyrano De Bergerac, which opens in New York on November 1st.

She says, "Theater's always been my absolute dream of all dreams, and all this other stuff that I've done has been accidental. I only ended up auditioning for television and movies because I was understudying a Turgenev play on Broadway. I was so broke that, when I got a mini-series, I had to take it, and was so ashamed because I was such a snob.

"I couldn't pass this up. Working with Kevin Kline, being in New York in the fall. I get so excited."
