I see her mom has now defended her, by saying that she has asthma, and it's hard to breathe in 105 degree weather. Okay, I don't have asthma, so I don't know how hard it is to breathe, but I gotta think it would have been easier had she, you know, went to bed and skipped the booze.

Her mom is enabling her.

Lohan gets mom's help

Lohan's mother, Dina (right), defended her daughter, saying "Lindsay was in 105 (degree weather) saying, 'Mommy, I feel sick; like I am going to faint.' She took herself to the hospital. She has asthma and in extreme cold or heat you can't breathe."

Dina Lohan is coming to daughter Lindsay's defense.
When a studio executive called Lindsay "irresponsible and unprofessional" after she did not show up for work on the set of her movie Georgia Rule, her mother took issue with that. "I'm a mother and will do what I need to do to protect my child. ... They worked the schedule around her. Everybody loves her," Dina tells TV's Access Hollywood in an interview airing today.

The drama began early last week. Lindsay's publicist said the actress, 20, was taken to a hospital in L.A. because she was overheated and dehydrated. After she didn't show up on set Wednesday, Morgan Creek Productions CEO James G. Robinson said in a letter dated that day to Lindsay: "We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so called 'exhaustion.' "

Dina tells Access: "She wasn't out all night."

Lindsay returned to work Thursday. Robinson told The Hollywood Reporter that he wrote the letter, which became public after it was posted on The Smoking Gun website Friday, because he "needed to remind her of her obligations."
