That doesn't necessarily mean anything. Appearance in the opening credits is negotiated between the actresses' agents/managers and the producers. Some actresses prefer to have their names later in the credits.
In some shows, many big stars are the last ones to appear in credits. For example "And also starring so-and-so as..." I can see why they do that, because that's the last name you see. Joan Collins was always the last person you saw in
Dynasty's opening credits back in the '80s.
I just think it's funny that Erica Durance is appearing in roughly half the season's episodes, yet her credit is ahead of Alison Mack's. It is strange...
