EPISODES 51-75

Ep51: New Starts:
Chloe starts her first day at community college, as Kellie encourages Brian to pursue his dream career of being a firefighter. Meanwhile, Ashley gives in to Jason, and quits giving him the cold-shoulder-on their first day of the 11th grade.

Ep52: Mr. Chef:
Dan decides to prepare and make a delicious meal for his family just to prove to his family-he can cook. Dan ends up surprising Olivia and the kids greatly. Meanwhile, Denise recieves a call from Rick, who wants to once again reconcile. Plus, Jamie befriends the new kid in school, Kyle (Jacob Smith).

Ep53: Love/Hate Relationships:
Denise agrees to go out to dinner with Rick, with intentions of not reconciling. Meanwhile, Dan and Olivia realize Jamie has feelings for her "strictly-platonic friend" Kyle. Jason and Ashley hangout for the first time in a long time.

Ep54: Chloe's Professor:
Chloe's Psychology professor, Prof. Hartlett (Billy Crystal) feels Chloe has great potential and still needs to try her best-even though she is maintaining a straight A average. Olivia and Denise decide to look into buying a going-out-of-business ice cream parlor. Against encouragement from Dan and the kids, they decide to pitch in and buy the ice cream parlor.

Ep55: Together Again:
Olivia and Denise remincise about working together back during high school at the mall food court. Meanwhile, Brian signs up for the firefighting course at the community college. Dan and Jason go car-shopping, after Dan's SUV turns out to be a "gas-guzzler".

Ep56: Recruiting The Kids:
Denise and Olivia recruit Kellie, Chloe, Jason, and Ashley to help out at the ice cream parlor. Jamie is hurt that she can't work and get paid, due to her being only 14. Dan bumps into Rick at the gym, and gets roped into meeting his new girlfriend-who confesses in private that she was paid to pose as his girlfriend in order to make Denise jealous.

Ep57: Just A Boy Friend?:
Kyle asks Jamie out to the movies, she accepts. They share a so-called secret kiss, which was spotted by Jason and Ashley who went to the same movie. Also, Brian gets offered the chance to do a job shadow with a firefighter, Mike (Christopher Meloni). After the job shadow, Mike offers Brian the chance to become an intern at the fire department-he gladly accepts.

Ep58: To Celebrate:
Dan takes Olivia, Denise, the kids, Kellie, and Ashley out to eat-to celebrate the eve of the grand opening of the ice cream parlor, and to celebrate Brian's internship. They must deal with a ditzy waitress (Kelly Ripa) who can't get any of their orders correct, even if her life depended on it.

Ep59: Grand Opening:
It's the grand opening of "Cold Stone Creamery" (the ice cream parlor). Denise, Olivia, Kellie, Chloe, Ashley, and Jason are pumped. Yet by closing time, the six are extremely exhausted and wore out. Meanwhile, Mike and Brian get called to a garage on fire, when they arrive-Brian just froze and couldn't believe how real it all was. Even though, he was a bit frightened by the huge flames, he loved every minute of it all.

Ep60: Beijing, China-We Go:
Dan goes to Beijing, China on a weeklong business trip. Denise, Brian, and Kellie learn their hot water isn't working-the plumber can't come for another three days. So the three temporarily move in with Olivia, Chloe, Jason, and Jamie for the next three days.
