Okay, I looked the words up in my German dictionary, and neither one is listed. However, the verb "kapen" is "to chop" so executioner is probably a good guess. I can't find any listing of it as a German word in any of my sources, but if it's a form of slang or is from the 40s Nazi era, it may not be used any more. Hope that helps!
