Same here!! I'm a HUGE kid at Halloween (I'm 44!!!!)
Where I used to work, they allowed us to go nuts each year. They even sanctioned departmental decorating and theme contests. You should have seen how elaborate these things got!
I won 3 years in a row for the dept. contests, and 2 years in a row for individual costumes. The first year I took "most original" for coming in as a cat's hairball and the second, "funniest costume" - I went as a Sales Analyst Nerd and had a whole routine I would do showing people what was in my briefcase.
I go nuts on the house and last year did Alice Cooper's Welcome To My Nightmare! The kids just loved it (although I scared the pee out of one little goober)!!
