I don't know why everyone is always so down on shag carpeting. I kind of like it! (I guess it can be more of a pain to clean though, like if you stain it). My parents just redecorated the living room, and they saved the carpeting for me to use in my new apartment (which is all hardwood floors). My place is gonna feel so 70s with the pale green shag carpet!
And whenever they get around to redecorating the upstairs hallway, I get some blue shag carpeting too!
