Jimbo, what you said was worth repeating, so a double post seems appropriate.
Friday's opening day sounds like it'll be a good time. Jim Bunning certainly sounds deserving of being honored, and it sounds to me like it's about time. He can't be a youngster anymore.
Thanks for the kind words about Boston teams. The Sox were recently purchased by a zillionairre for a whopping 700 million! Boston's holding its collective breath hoping this puts new life into the team. One of the problems with the Sox has been the reluctance to spend money. George Steinbrenner understands that you have to pay for talent, and his team has the championship seasons to show for it.
Just one World Series win in my lifetime--that's all I ask for--just one.
