Recent Article On Women TV Docs
Last weekend the New York Times ran a story about the way women Doctors are portrayed on TV.
Here's a quote from an "E.R" guy -
"The female physicians of E.R. are strong and complicated and we try to keep them complicated, said Jack Orman, an executive producer at E.R., But I don't know if they ever do show their empathetic side."
Do you think the portrayal of these characters is accurate?
Are the famale docs "too manly" when they are strong, assertive and emotionally distant, as the article suggested?
