I'm a little confused here.
Now in my humble opinion, both the Lakers and the Yankees basically had/has the same way of doing business, going out and getting the best players for their team, that the owners money can buy. And here is where my confusion comes in, last year everyone hated the Lakers because they had, supposedly a stacked team of players, but don't the Yanks have the same thing going??
I mean George went out and got players he wanted to improve his chances of winning, and not one person said a thing, but the Lakers do it and they are the most hated team in professional sports.
Someone please explain the difference and why the Yanks are praised for this while the Lakers are booed.
