Eve's and Maureen's changing perspective on the Brady Bunch

Eve Plumb used to be the one who distanced herself from the Brady Bunch and the cast members. Since 2019, she has made more appearances with them. She posts lots of Brady stuff on her social media page, and of course, has recently written a book.

Maureen McCormick, on the other hand, has become more reclusive in regards to the Brady Bunch. She no longer makes many appearances with other cast members or does interviews about the show. Her social media pages have largely ignored the series. Whether this is by choice or she has been frozen out by most of the rest of the cast (perhaps by the way she has treated Eve in recent years) is unknown.

In the episode where Peter loses his job at the bike shop, the whole family goes bike riding near the end.

Alice brings up the rear, and she has training wheels on her bike. Do you suppose Ann B. Davis never learned how to ride a bike?

This is interesting. She was first cast and they picked the girls based on her look. At the last minute the head of ABC overruled Sherwood Swartz and told him Florence Henderson was now available. Sherwood fought for Joyce because the show was built around her. He wanted a Lucy type show but the ABC head wanted it to be more Donna Reed show. Joyce signed a 7 year contract. Sherwood had to revamp the show because his idea was having the mother be funny and housekeeper straight. When Florence was picked Sherwood had to recast the maid. Starts around 21:50

A quick summary:

Cousin Oliver is on here. He has lots of self-depreciation humor about his time on the Brady Bunch and having a curse on the weakest link.

Florence makes a couple of references about her dating Barry.

Most of the cast members looked like they were having a good time here.

Two of the cast members clearly had friction with one another (not hard to guess who). Anne Robinson sensed the tension and asked one of the cast members if they not like the other, this one cast member said a quick, stern, firm "Well, No!' before they tried to correct themselves from an awkward moment.
