I think Touched By An Angel sparked the trend of the popularity of believing in angels and paved the way for more inspirational wholesome family TV. But what really made me buy the album was Jaci Velasquez's song and God Loves You is such a wonderful song with a Disney-like vibe to it. I also found out that a Touched By An Angel Christmas album was made too.
