A Mare of Easttown / Task crossover of some sort is in the works. Julianne Nicholson is set to reprise her Emmy-winning "Mare of Easttown" role as Lori Ross in Season 2 of HBO’s "Task", Deadline has confirmed.

Few details are known, but Nicholson will portray Lori Ross, the mother of three children who lives in Easttown.



Both series are created and executive produced by Brad Ingelsby and take place in the working-class suburbs of Philadelphia.

Up to now, there has been no connection between the two series.

Edgar Ramírez (Emilia Perez) has joined the second season of HBO's "Task", starring Mark Ruffalo and Mahershala Ali.

He will play Miguel Contreras, a devoted family man and loyal DEA second-in-command torn between duty and guilt.
