A <i>Mare of Easttown</i> / <i>Task</i> crossover of some sort is in the works. Julianne Nicholson is set to reprise her Emmy-winning &quot;<i>Mare of Easttown</i>&quot; role as Lori Ross in Season 2 of HBO&#8217;s &quot;<i>Task</i>&quot;, Deadline has confirmed.<br />

Few details are known, but Nicholson will portray Lori Ross, the mother of three children who lives in Easttown.<br />

<br />
Both series are created and executive produced by Brad Ingelsby and take place in the working-class suburbs of Philadelphia. <br />
<br />
Up to now, there has been no connection between the two series.<br />
