In 1995, a brand-new network called UPN took the ultimate gamble on an uncommercial, paranoid psychological thriller called "Nowhere Man". Starring a then-unknown Bruce Greenwood and created by Lawrence Hertzog, this slow burn cult classic was hailed by TV Guide as "this season's coolest hit."

In this episode of RetroScope TV, I cover the fascinating history, behind-the-scenes network clashes, and the mind-bending twist ending of television's ultimate lost masterpiece. I explore how it compared to '90s giants like The X-Files, The Fugitive, and The Prisoner, and why corporate mergers have effectively erased Nowhere Man from the streaming world today.
