Do you like it whenever Joe and Helen's special song, "Isn't It Romantic?" is played on "Wings"?

Well, that song was written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart for the 1932 Paramount film "Love Me Tonight", starring Maurice Chevalier and Jeanette MacDonald.

The song is sung and reprised several times throughout the film (by a variety of characters), and the film is available on DVD and VHS from KINO Video.

I don't work for KINO, but I'm plugging this video because the sound and picture quality are excellent, and the movie itself is a lot of fun...and I think of Joe and Helen every time I hear "Isn't It Romantic?" in this film.

If you'd like to check out this title, KINO's website address is:

I'm sure I mentioned this before but it's been used a few times in Frasier, too. Not surprising. Just like "Buttons & Bows" being used in both Wings & Frasier.

I remember playing "Isn't It Romantic" on the piano way before I started watching Wings or Frasier!

Lowell--(singing)"Isn't It Romantic" 'I really love this song, I just wish I knew what it was called'! Oh, that Lowell!

Leave it to Lowell to say the funniest things. According to Lowell he thinks Tom Petty the singer is the sexiest man alive,

and then asked Fay to help him with his money budget and she looked and said what is this tuxedo monthly rental, and he said he rented a tuxedo for a wedding, and they kept charing him and he kept paying it and then she said go down there and demand a refund they cheated you out, so he goes down and comes back and said did you get it straightend out and he said they gave me a deal and he ends up buying it.

Actually, it was even funnier than that... because it wasn't for a wedding, it was to BURY somebody in!!

And he asked Fay "What if they want the tuxedo back?" And Fay said, "Trust me, they won't."

My, I love this show.

Love,
