Which DVD would you buy and why? I would actually leave out the store and wait until I got enough money to buy both DVD's. Too tough of a decision.

Is someone around here a bit Maude obsessed? Hey, if you'd leave the store and wait till you got enough money to buy both, shouldn't that be an option for us too? If you had to pick one, which would you pick? Brent88 02-19-2004, 12:54 AM LOL The Jeffersons. vashti1999 02-19-2004, 01:02 AM I'd pick the Jeffersons too, seeing as how I already have the first two season dvd sets. Maude isn't exactly very high up on my list of anticipated dvd releases. Maude isn't exactly very high up on my list of anticipated dvd releases. I'm not saying no one else can't leave the store like me. I just can't decide, it's too tough-LOL Mr. Television 02-19-2004, 01:51 AM I would probably pick Maude since I've seen The Jeffersons on tv more. Chelsea 02-19-2004, 01:53 AM Well, if I HAD to pick between the two, it'd be The Jeffersons. BUT, if they "Save money and leave" option is available, I'd save my $30 for the eventual release of the Knots Landing DVDs... Nanny Fine 02-19-2004, 10:40 AM Maude barwars 02-19-2004, 12:10 PM The question should be changed to: If you won a contest and got a choice between "Maude - The Complete First Season" and "The Jeffersons - The Complete Third Season".... which would you pick?? I would definately pick "The Jeffersons - Season 3". I dont even know if I would buy Maude on DVD. Its a little too political for me. (thats why I never got into All in the Family either) Brian Damage 02-19-2004, 12:18 PM The Jeffersons Adamantium 02-19-2004, 05:12 PM Maude - I'd eventually buy both, but I think I'd go ahead and buy Maude first. LucyFan 02-19-2004, 07:19 PM Not contest here . . . I would definitely buy The Jeffersons. Sean Snow 02-19-2004, 07:27 PM Definitely Maude. It's my favorite Norman Lear show. It's very funny, IMO. It's a shame it isn't on DVD yet. :( jayman75 02-19-2004, 08:13 PM I would buy neither. I would pay for a way to get you to quit asking STUPID questions. TVFactFan 02-19-2004, 08:17 PM Originally posted by jayman75 I would buy neither. I would pay for a way to get you to quit asking STUPID questions. Is that because you have no money? Brian 02-19-2004, 09:45 PM I would choose Maude. I've seen The Jeffersons a lot more and I didn't get into Maude until its last months on TV Land. Chelsea 02-19-2004, 11:01 PM That's just it, the only time I ever saw Maude was at 5:30 AM in the morning (or somewhere in there), and, this was years ago, so I can't really view this accurately. But I love George & Weezie more - so I’d go with the Jeffersons. The Jeffersons also had a much more fun set supporting characters too. BensonFan 05-03-2021, 11:01 PM Jeffersons |
