I can't believe you found an episode. I was surprised the quality was good-lol Mr. Television 02-10-2005, 02:46 AM The show was rerunned quite a lot in NC during the 1980's. For a show that only had about 44 episodes I thought that was pretty good. But I haven't seen it since. dandelion wine 02-10-2005, 02:52 AM I was surprised the quality was good-lol  Damn, not only did you find an episode but the quality is good. That's pretty damn cool. TVFactFan 02-10-2005, 07:13 PM  Damn, not only did you find an episode but the quality is good. That's pretty damn cool. TVFactFan 02-16-2005, 08:26 PM i have 3 volumes of CARTER COUNTRY,on VHs,with 4 episodes on each tape............ 3 volumes of Carter Country from WHERE????? Brian Damage 03-04-2005, 11:46 AM Sounds like a scam TVFactFan 03-04-2005, 01:16 PM Sounds like a scam Yeah I know-LOL Why would there be VOLUMES of Carter Country-LOL tdubel 04-21-2005, 12:26 PM I actually have a total of around 36 Carter country eps of varying quality between VHS and DVD I managed to accumulate over the years. They do exist, just tough to find in perfect quality, that is why they are never on my list. I do have them though, if interested, just contact me. I do not have a complete episode guide done yet on these. Tom aka tdubel AND Contrary to popular opinion on this board a lot of this stuff does exist, just not always posted. tdubel 05-01-2005, 08:49 PM Braindamage: Why is it a scam automatically if someone posts they have a rare show???? Isn't that why some read this board is to locate the show?? Comments like that drive some of the old time traders away, who would want to deal with you with an attitude like that from the get go? TVFactFan 05-01-2005, 10:35 PM Braindamage: Why is it a scam automatically if someone posts they have a rare show???? Isn't that why some read this board is to locate the show?? Comments like that drive some of the old time traders away, who would want to deal with you with an attitude like that from the get go? I think he was just saying you have to be careful when some says they have several eps of a very rare show. tdubel 05-02-2005, 05:16 PM I wasn't trying to single out Braindamage at all, it just got directed that way. But there are a lot of people out there who do have these shows, they just are not as internet savvy as the new generation of tape traders and they are not anxious to trade either as most of them have huge collections. These shows are out there, just takes a lot of searching. As I said, I have 36 of the 43 Carter Country shows made, while not perfect, they are watchable. Tom Tom did you get by email about Baby I'm Back or don't talk to VHS Traders anymore?-lol Just joking tdubel 05-04-2005, 12:43 PM Hi Solomon, I sent a response, resend your last email b/c I must not have gotten it. Tom newwavepopman 08-28-2005, 06:14 PM Just what would it take to get the studio who made Carter Country to release all of the episodes onto DVD? By the way what studio did Carter Country anyway? Maybe if we all email them they may decide to release them onto DVD? Anyway,it couldn't hurt and would be worth a try, after all Sony just released every episode of all the That's My Mama episodes onto DVD,and they were only on for 1 and a half seasons. If they can put that out, surely the company who did Carter Country can do the same. They just need to be informed that there are fans still out there of the show. newwavepopman 08-28-2005, 06:18 PM I also would love to see the studio who did On The Rocks put those out onto DVD as well.Haven't seen the show since it was on television since it's original broadcast. But I know that 20 years ago, that On The Rocks was shown in repeats,10 years later on some local cable stations.Just never got to see any of them again,as I had moved out of state at the time, and they weren't being shown on my cable up in New York where I moved to at the time. That's My Mama is more entertaining that Carter Country TVFactFan 08-28-2005, 07:51 PM I also would love to see the studio who did On The Rocks put those out onto DVD as well.Haven't seen the show since it was on television since it's original broadcast. But I know that 20 years ago, that On The Rocks was shown in repeats,10 years later on some local cable stations.Just never got to see any of them again,as I had moved out of state at the time, and they weren't being shown on my cable up in New York where I moved to at the time. I have a ABC ep of On The Rocks which was the Pilot ep on VHS newwavepopman 09-08-2005, 10:54 PM Oh I don't about that. Some fans may think that both shows of That's My Mama and Carter Country were both evenly entertaining. Some may like both shows as much, and some may like one better than the other.Still with 43 episodes of Carter Country, and only 37 episodes in total of That's My Mama,I would think that there is still a very good chance of seeing Carter Country on DVD at some point. And there were more episodes of Carter Country than of That's My Mama, but That's My Mama came out on DVD recently,so I can see the same thing done on Carter Country. I see that Bud Yorkin Productions did Carter Country.Does anyone know if they have a website,or an email address where one can write to them requesting such an offer? The more requests they get,the better chance of releasing them onto DVD. Thanks.
