Did any one happen to see Cold Case on Sunday night? It was about a 6 year old orphan boy. They would flash back to the 50's. They played 3 songs of Ricky Nelsons in the back ground. It was so cool. Wish I had taped it. Also last fall on American Dreams they also played one of Rick's songs in the back ground. and had him performing at American Bandstand. Don't think Rick play on AB in real life. I love to pick up on these things when Im watching tv. Its great to know that people have not for gotten how good Rick's music is.

Yes, I'm so glad to hear Rick's songs in the background on some current shows. I didn't see Cold Case, but I did see American Dreams last year. I knew in two notes of the the intro, it was his song on Meg's record player. Rick wasn't seen on the show on AB though, and he never did appear in person. What's funny about the AB thing, is that he was set to appear, then refused to get his hair cut to be on it.

Less recently, O&H was on the TV set in the background in a scene of American Graffiti in a scene with friend, Richard Dryefuss. MTv used to play a few songs too.
