I was watching New Girl Pt. 1 & 2 yesterday, and I noticed a grammatical error. I don't know if anyone actually cares, but it's just been bugging me. Tootie says, "...us girls can have some girl talk..." to Arnold. She should have said "we girls can have some girl talk" because if you take out 'girls', you wouldn't say "us can have some girl talk." Do you think the writers just wrote it that way because that's how most kids talk, or do you think they just messed up?

Ok, that's enough thinking for the summer for me. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I'm starting to feel like I'm back in Grammar class...

I highly doubt they mest up. That is a big mistake, and I don't think that could have been overlooked. I think it was supposed to be like that.

Teddy Is Hott!! --pretty plain and simple. I cannot tell a lie--Teddy is ALL mine!!

Blair: Hold it, you ruined my watch.
Jo: No I didn't, it's a stop watch...it stopped

Blair: Jo, you've got some power, but you're not wearing it right. You don't want to
throw it onlike a motorcycle jacket, you want to slip it on, like a negligee.
Jo: I'm not doin' anything weird!!!

Natalie: She's always saying what a great kid you are.
Andy: Kid?
Natalie: Guy. Did i say kid? Why would i say kid? Man. She said man!

It seemed more realistic to have Tootie use poor grammar-kids do that regularly-not that I am promoting poor grammar but it's the way it is.
