They haven't announced a price as of yet, but this is the official release date from Paramount.

The size of that box suggests a worrying lack of disks. It'll be too many episodes squished on, and far less extras than we've had so far. Come on, nice Paramount People, carry on like you did before!

But maybe smaller will mean less expensive?

Size don't matter; It's just the quality of what's inside:D . There are only 31 eps the box says?? they should put it on double DVD sets and make it even smaller...

I dunno, but just remember it gets really COLD up here this time of year! That can affect a . . . DVD! LOL!

Looks big enough to me. Looks to be about the size of my Saved by the Bell Season1 & 2 set...6 discs.

I dont care as long as its all on there! I am buying it anyways :D..

And less DVD's makes it easier to watch. You don't have to get up as often to change the DVD! :)

They should make it double DVD set's that way only 3 will be needed instead of 6

I hope they don't put them on two sided discs the way MGM did with Green Acres. They have 8 episodes per side and then you have to flip it over like an old vinyl LP.

Is season 2 when they move to the new apartment? I always liked episodes in the apartment with the window better than their first living room for some reason!

Yup, they move into the new apartment nearer to the end of season two, after Little Ricky is born.

I was looking at my Lucy shelf the other day and i'm up to 28 Lucy DVD's already, so nice to finally see some of her stuff come out that will keep forever. Look for this new Lucille Ball collection, it has five DVD's, four have 2 episodes each of The Lucy show on them and the other has a 50 minute Lucy Desi love story documentary on it, great boxed set in purple and green. Naturally they used an I Love Lucy picture for the cover though.
