Tonight TVLand showed a series of old Sid & Marty Krofft Productions shows. They included Land of the Lost, Pufnstuff, etc.

Then there was a rare live special of a mid-70's stage show. The Brady Kids appeared singing and dancing a medley of classic rock hits.

Surprisingly, the main favorite and attraction of the performance was "Bobby."

Mike Lookinland did several solos. He was really a natural and impressive performer.

And their outfits were really groovy, too.

Yeah - little Bobby was really rockin' out! You could hear the little girls screaming in the audience.

During one of their numbers, when Bobby and Cindy shared the microphone, Cindy flashed him a really annoyed look. Not sure what that was about. Guess I'll have to watch it again - I got it on tape.

My only gripe about the act is that "Proud Mary" was sung too fast. The kids were on hyper-speed!

The version by Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) in 1969 was average speed. However, the version by Ike and Tina Turner in 1971 had a very ... slow ... first ... half, but the second half was twiceasfast. The Bradys could have been singing the second half of the Ike and Tina Turner version.

I saw the whole night. I taped it to. It was so good. I have rewinded it a bunch of times and watched it over again. :) :) :) :)
In April Tv Land is supposed to air more 70's specials. I hope
they have more with the Bradys. Also the Bugaloos the singing inscects.
