Hi gang - happy Valentines day. Didja all send Laura a box of Sweet Tarts!?

I've updated all the ordering links. The image of the boxed set on the top of the page will get you to all 3 seasons, plus you can click each season individually.

The Reunion Show is scheduled to start shooting next month at CBS's Radford Studios in Studio City California - the same place where Seinfeld was filmed. (also the same place where yours truly had his offices on Hawaii Five-O!)

I'm hoping to get a look at the latest script soon and will report in as soon as I do. I'm also hoping for a special treat!

best,

Doug

Hey, Doug, long time no see! Good to see you on the board! Thanks for the update on the reunion. I am anxious to hear what you think of the final script.

I have a question about the season 4 set. In the bonus section they have listed a Roddy McDowall photo gallery. Why Roddy McDowall? Was he on TDVDS at some point? I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out the connection. Thanks! And, again, good to see you!

In addition to being a great actor, Roddy Macdowell was an amazing photographer. He published several books titled "Double Exposure" featuring his candid pictures of celebrities. I'm presuming that he came to Desilu and took pictures of everyone.

I'll see if I can find out more. In the meantime, here's a link to his books:

Doug, Isn't there ANY way a lifelong fan who lives right next door to Studio City could see some filming?!?!?!

Hi Doug,

Huge DVDS newbie here :D, but I love the show. Thank you so much for posting here and keeping us updated on the latest goings-on.

I know this is totally getting ahead of everything (since the special isn't even filmed and the other seasons aren't out on DVD yet!), but any idea if this special will make it to DVD eventually? I live in Singapore and am extremely doubtful that I'll be able to catch the reunion show whenever it's aired in the US. :( But I would simply love to see it.

Of course, I'm also here waiting to see what you think of the final script. :D

Thanks,
g.

Good idea, Gaityr!
In fact, it would be fantastic to have this special included on the season five set, huh gang??? Just like they did "Head of the Family" on season one's set.
Now, that's what I'd call a bonus!

Roddy McDowell included a single photo of Dick Van Dyke in his book Double Exposure. This was a photo he took on the set of The Dick Van Dyke Show.

However, he shot lots of photos that day that were never published (remember that giant rock in the basement?)

Thanks, David. I am really looking forward to seeing that. By the way, I enjoyed the "Making of 'It May Look Like a Walnut.'" It was a great addition to the DVD set!

Thanks for the feedback on my documentary. I appreciate it!!!

BTW, the Season 3 DVDs are awesome. I received my advance set over the weekend and have already enjoyed all of the bonus footage. You will love it.
